For my second emerging technology I chose to experiment with photobucket. I've heard of people using this before, but I never have. Usually, if I want to share my photos with people I just post them on facebook, so this was an interesting new way to share photos especially with people that don't have facebook.
This website was really easy to use. I went to photobucket.com and all I had to do was create an account and then it took me to a page where I automatically started uploading my photos I wanted to share with others. I only got a chance to upload about 25 photos for this assignment, but I plan on uploading more as I take more photos over the next couple holidays coming up.
There are a lot of different things you can do with this website. It's really easy to organize your photo's in any order you'd like. I chose to organize mine from the most recent events to older events. You can also have different album themes, you can create slideshows, you can share your album with just about anyone you'd like, and you can buy the prints you post on your album.
This is a really neat website. It's free to become a member and really easy to use. I recommend this website to anyone who wants to share their photos with others.
Here is a link to my album I've created for those of you who want to check it out: http://www.photobucket.com/khill2420

Hello. Nice job working with photobucket. I have had a login and password to that site for a while but I have never uploaded any of my own photos. You did a really nice job. Tell you sister Lacie that her purple hair rocks too! Good luck with post #3!

Photo bucket?? What a cute name!! I like the technology, but I wont even look in a mirror let alone take a picture, but I always tell myself I need to take more pictures, so when I do, I will come back to your blog and take my tutorial again. Thanks for getting your assignment done in a timely manner, you made my life a little easier!!
