Podcast

I've finally finished my podcast. After reading other people's blog, I found that most people found Yodio to be the easiest; which I do agree with. I tried some of the other podcasting websites found on our class wiki, and they were either too complicated or just wouldn't work for me. (I had a difficult time with this assignment)



I've never used podcasts before so I didn't even know where to start. But, through Yodio they give you a step by step instructions that make it easy to figure out. All I had to do was upload the photo(s) I wanted to use then call a number to record my message. Once I did that all I had to do was drag my video and audio to a separate area so my picture would have sound. Now that I've done the assignment it's really not too bad, through this website. I did find it to be a bit time consuming. This probably had to do with the fact that I started out not having a clue as to what I was doing.



Now I can see how podcasting could be very useful in a classroom setting. I don't really see myself using this application, but I can see why others might want to. If I did use it, i would probably use it specifically for instructions to an assignment or if I knew in advance I was going to miss a day of school I could have a podcast premade for when I was going to miss.

I didn't really like this site very much at first, but once I got the hang of it I really started to like it and found it very useful.
